My Review: So, let’s talk novels in verse. They aren’t usually my thing but I keep coming back to them when the plot is intriguing. So it was with In Paris With You. I loved the premise of this book, but a part of me wished it had a more narrative structure. However, if you’re a fan of novels in verse then I think you’d enjoy this tale of two people who meet when they’re kids, tragedy strikes, and then meet again 10 years later and have to sort everything out. Also, this is solidly more adult than young adult. The characters are 24 and 27 for most of the novel. Update to add: it's been three years since I read it and I still think about it at least once a week, so it hit me a lot more than I thought it did when I originally wrote this review.
Recommended age: Adult (age of characters, situations)
